I’ve always liked building things from the ground up. I started with my own personal training business and, for more than six years, I’ve brought that same hands-on mindset to helping technology leaders build engineering teams across startups, scale-ups and major organisations.
As Associate Director of Software, Data & AI Engineering at The Onset, I deliver permanent and contract searches, from specialist engineers to Technical Leads, Principal Engineers and Engineering Managers. I’ve helped build teams across aviation, financial services, fintech, health technology, media, energy and agribusiness.
I know how to turn a difficult or evolving brief into a focused search that delivers. By understanding the technology, team and business priorities upfront, approximately one in every two candidates I introduce progresses to interview. That means less time filtering profiles and more time meeting people who can genuinely strengthen the team.
